Terms of Use

Important information about using this website.

Last updated: September 18, 2026

These Terms of Use apply when you visit the Mississauga Landscaping Pros website, use its information, upload material or submit a landscaping or property-service request. By using the website, you agree to these terms.

1. Purpose of the website

The website provides general information about landscaping, hardscaping, lawns and gardens, grading and drainage, outdoor structures, maintenance, commercial property care, snow removal and ice management in Mississauga. It also provides forms through which visitors can ask questions or request an estimate.

Website descriptions explain the kinds of work that may be considered. They do not guarantee that every service, material, schedule or solution is available for every property.

2. General information—not a site assessment

Content is provided for general planning and educational purposes. It is not a final design, construction drawing, survey, engineering opinion, arborist report, drainage plan, permit approval, legal opinion, safety instruction or property-specific recommendation.

Photographs, dimensions, examples, bylaw discussions and material descriptions cannot replace an inspection or advice from the qualified professional or responsible authority required for a particular property.

3. Estimate requests do not create a contract

Submitting a form, receiving an automated message, discussing a project or arranging a property visit does not create a contractor-client relationship and does not require either party to proceed. A binding agreement exists only when the applicable parties accept a separate written quote or contract.

A project agreement should identify the accepted scope, exclusions, measurements, preparation, removals, materials, substitutions, access, utilities, approvals, payment, taxes, scheduling, weather, cleanup, warranty terms, changes, cancellation and dispute procedures where relevant.

4. Availability, estimates and project changes

Availability can depend on property location, project size, access, season, weather, staffing, equipment, materials, approvals and schedule. A preliminary range, website statement or verbal discussion is not a final price.

A quote may change before acceptance if measurements, site conditions, disposal, material choices, taxes, permit requirements, utility conflicts or the requested scope change. An accepted written agreement controls if it conflicts with general website language.

5. Information you submit

You agree to provide information that is accurate and current and to disclose material facts before work is confirmed. You must have authority to request work at the property and should identify any ownership, tenancy, condominium, property-management, boundary, easement, shared-feature, access, pet, hazard, drainage, utility or approval issue that could affect the request.

Do not upload unlawful material, malware, another person's confidential information without authority, financial credentials, identification documents or sensitive records that are not needed for an estimate.

6. Photographs, plans and uploaded material

You retain ownership of material you submit. You grant a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, copy, review and share it only as reasonably needed to process the request, assess the property, prepare a quote, coordinate requested services, maintain records or comply with law.

An upload does not grant permission to publish identifiable customer property, project photographs or testimonials as marketing. Public use should be covered by separate, documented authorization.

7. Property conditions, boundaries and approvals

Outdoor work can be affected by soil, frost, grading, drainage, trees, foundations, structures, property lines, easements, utilities, municipal rules, conservation requirements, condominium restrictions and permit requirements. The responsible party for surveys, locates, professional reviews, permits and inspections should be stated in the written agreement.

Nothing on the website authorizes driveway widening, curb work, drainage changes, tree removal, excavation, electrical or gas work, structural construction or another regulated activity. Required approvals and utility locates must be completed before affected work begins.

8. Weather, snow and urgent conditions

Outdoor and winter services are affected by weather, temperature, accumulation, municipal plowing, site access and the triggers stated in the applicable agreement. General website descriptions do not promise arrival or completion by a specific time.

The website and its forms are not emergency services. Do not use them for urgent flooding, dangerous ice, fallen electrical lines, gas leaks, fire, medical emergencies or an immediate threat to people or property. Contact the appropriate emergency service or utility.

9. Acceptable website use

You may use the website for lawful personal or business inquiry purposes. You must not:

  • Submit fraudulent, misleading, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory or unlawful material
  • Impersonate another person or provide their information without authority
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to bypass security, rate limits or access controls
  • Scrape, probe, overload, disrupt or interfere with the website or its connected services
  • Copy website text, images, branding or code for commercial republication without permission
  • Use the website in a way that violates law or another person's rights

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the theme, branding, logo, written content, graphics, photographs and original code are owned by or licensed to Mississauga Landscaping Pros and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Reasonable portions may be viewed or printed for personal project planning, but no ownership right is transferred.

11. Third-party services and links

The website may rely on or link to forms, analytics, maps, municipal resources, social networks, suppliers and other third-party services. Those parties control their own content, availability, security, accessibility, privacy practices and terms. A link does not guarantee endorsement or continuing accuracy.

12. Website availability and warranties

The website and its general content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. No promise is made that every page will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a specific property. Nothing in these terms excludes a statutory warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of website-related liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mississauga Landscaping Pros is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising solely from use of, inability to use or reliance on general website content. This limitation does not replace liability provisions in an accepted service contract and does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

14. Privacy

Personal information submitted through the website is handled under the Privacy Policy. That policy describes collection, use, disclosure, technology providers, retention, safeguards and privacy choices.

15. Updates and governing law

Website features and content may be changed, corrected, restricted or suspended for maintenance, security or operational reasons. These terms may also be revised; the version posted when the website is used applies to that use.

These terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable federal law. Subject to mandatory consumer or dispute rules, a website-use dispute will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Ontario.

16. General provisions and contact

If part of these terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms and the Privacy Policy govern website use but do not replace an accepted project contract.

Questions about these terms may be submitted through the website contact form with “Terms of Use” in the message.
